Featuring a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual selfie camera, and a punch-hole design, it is no doubt Honor V30 will soon become the trending news in the Nigerian smartphone market. Just like the news of the upcoming iPhone 12 is still making waves in the country. From the features we have seen so far on this device, it will compete greatly with the latest flagship devices from Vivo, Realme, and Xiaomi. In fact, the only reason these other brands may do better than it in the markets over here is simply because they have been in our country for a while.
Honor V30 comes with a big battery size to match the massive camera sensors and the 5G connectivity on the device. It also runs on the latest android version, offering users a smooth and excellent performance. Below is the full specification.
Design and Display

As revealed during the launching, V30 features a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display, with a resolution of 1080 X 2400 pixels and 400 PPI. Weighing 213g, the smartphone comes in Blue and Orange colors so you can choose the color design you fancy. Unlike what we have been seeing on other mobile phones, Honor V30 comes with the fingerprint sensor carefully planted by the side. This makes it easier to access your phone completely with one hand.
Before seeing the pictures of the smartphone online, I had expected the dual selfie camera to be the kind of motorized pop-up camera we saw on Vivo Y17 Pro. But instead, the sensors sit comfortably at the top left of the screen. The rear cameras are arranged vertically by the top left side of the smartphone also. Just like that of Huawei Nova 6. The only difference in the design here is the position of the LED Flash.

Camera and Battery
During the launching, we learned the Front camera size on the smartphone is 32 MP and 8 MP respectively, giving you a dual selfie camera that can capture and deliver very clear photographs. At the rear, a 40 MP primary camera is supported by two other sensors, with each being 8 MP in size. That gives you a triple rear camera on the smartphone.
To power, the device is a 4200mAh Li-Po battery that supports 40W fast charging. According to reports, it takes just about 30 minutes to charge the battery to 70%.
Software and Hardware

This is one area Honor really gave users something to look forward to on this device. Talking about the operating system, Honor V30 runs on Magic UI 3.0.1 based on Android 10. Powering that is the in-house Kirin 990 SoC, which makes the smartphone very fast in operation. You can play games and watch videos for hours on the phone without experiencing any hitch.
At the memory department, Honor V30 features an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM. There is no support for an external memory card so this memory is all you get on the device. Unless you upgrade to the variant which comes with a 256 GB ROM. (Pinnaclemontessori.com)
On the connectivity, the mobile phone comes with 5G and 4G LTE on both SIMS. Other features like Infrared, Bluetooth, Wifi, and Hotspot are also supported on the device.
