A few days ago, Nokia released the latest Nokia 2.3 Android smartphone with some amazing features and specs. The new device is a low-price phone that comes with a compact design, decent storage capacity, and impressive cameras. Not only does the smartphone feature good storage and cameras, but it is also equipped with a powerful AI-powered battery which promises up a two days battery life.
Today, we are going to talk about some of the features of this latest Nokia 2.3 smartphone, full specifications, and the expected price in Nigeria when it finally gets to the country.

Design and Display
Based on the design, the Nokia 2.3 comes in a compact design that is very easy to hold and fits perfectly in your pocket. There is waterdrop-kind of Notch on top of the display that houses the front selfie camera. A flip over at the back, you will see a dual rear camera setup vertically arranged with a powerful LED flash beneath the cameras. The phone feels and looks pretty strong which is one good thing about Nokia phones. There is no rear fingerprint scanner on the phone.
In terms of display, the Nokia 2.3 packs a 6.2-inch HD+ display that has a 19:9 screen. The display has a notch as we’ve already stated, with a screen resolution 720 x 1520 pixels and 295 PPI. Even with the phone being a low- price ranger, the display produces a top-notch visual experience.

Camera and Battery
[the_ad id=”1491″]
For optics, Nokia 2.3 is equipped with a dual rear camera setup which contains 13MP and 2MP cameras. Even in a low-light environment, you can take the perfect photographs with the dual sensor and AI imaging. On the front, there is a good 8MP camera for selfie shots and video calls.
To power the phone, the AI_assisted 3,500mAh Li-ion battery is very capable and can deliver (by our own estimation) up to a day battery life on fair usage.
Hardware and Software
Nokia 2.3 is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 chipset that supports an Octa-core Cortex A53 processor having a clock speed of up to 2GHz. For graphics, the PowerVR GE8300 GPU is very capable to handle any graphical needs of the smartphone. To ensure you get a lag-free performance, there is a 2GB RAM on the device along with a 32GB storage capacity that can equally be expanded up to 400GB.
The good news is, Nokia 2.3 will soon be among the smartphones armed with the latest Android 10 operating system. But before then, the phone runs Android 9 (Pie) based on Android One, which means you get a pure software experience with a streamlined interface and no bloatware. Plus, with 2 years of software upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates, it will stay safe and act as good as new.
