We have seen so many new smartphone releases from Samsung mobile this year in different series. The company launched smartphones in the Galaxy M-series, A-series, and S-series, but none of them is as compact as the latest Galaxy A40 in the A-series lineup. The Galaxy A40 as a mid-ranger has a Super AMOLED display and an ultra wide-angle camera as the major selling points.

The smartphone is affordable and can comfortably serve as a perfect alternative to the Galaxy S10e. Apart from that, the smartphone comes with a glasstic design Infinity-U display and dual camera setup. The phone hosts an in-house Exynos 7885 chip that can stand tall with the chipset other competitors like Qualcomm is offering. Considering the compact nature of the smartphone, the 3,100mAh battery will surely go a long way in terms of power usage when fully charged. Since the Android smartphone has a compact build, the display measures 5.9-inch that delivers 2340 x 1080 pixels in resolution. As we know, the Galaxy A40 features a dual camera setup on the rear, which includes a 16MP (f/1.7) main sensor and a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. Interestingly, the front hosts a single 25MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 runs Android 9 Pie, based on Octa-core chipset and a $GB of RAM for fast processing. The internal storage is at 64GB and can be expanded up to 512GB via microSD card.
