This latest addition to the Camon series comes with more advanced features than what we have on the Camon 11 series released last year, and it is designed for the social media enthusiasts who follow the trend and love shooting and sharing pictures. Specs-wise, Camon 12 flaunts impressive cameras with a 6.52-inch Dot notched IPS LCD display. Design and Display
Tecno Camon 12 comes with a premium plastic body that gives the phone a beautiful and trendy design. The phone comes in a simple, exquisite, and ultra-slim body design, well-crafted to appeal with different gradient colors. The front features a Dot-shaped notch that houses the selfie shooter on the LCD display, while the right-hand side hosts the volume rockers and the power button. At the back, there are triple rear camera setup and Flash, with the fingerprint scanner occupying the top right center space.
Based on the display, Camon 12 features a big 6.52 inches IPS LCD display with a Dot-shaped notch housing the front camera. The display has a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels with 19.5:9 aspect ratio for good quality viewing experience.
Camera and Battery
For optics, Tecno Camon 12 hosts triple camera setup at the back panel, which includes a 16MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide angle shooter. The cameras are fully equipped to shoot quality pictures. At the front, Tecno iced the new device with a 16MP sharp selfie camera with dual-LED flash for superb selfie shots.
On the battery department, Camon 12 rocks better battery capacity than the Phantom 9. The 4000mAh non-removable Li-ion battery supplies long-lasting power to the device. Sadly, there is no fast charge technology on board, but it is worth the offering price.

The new Camon 12 is driven by the MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 CPU, along with a 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal space that can be upgraded to 256GB with MicroSD card for maximum performance and storage space. For graphics, the PowerVR GE8322 takes care of that area and makes sure you get the best gaming experience.
Software-wise, the phone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) based on HiOS v5.5.
Tecno Camon 12 Price in Nigeria and Availability
The phone was officially released on September 5 at the price of $126, which is approximately N46,000 in Nigeria.
