Xiaomi is back again with another hot Android smartphone tagged Xiaomi Mi 9. This is coming barely eight months after the launch of the Mi 8. The Xiaomi Mi 9 being the upgraded version of Mi 8 comes with the fastest wireless charging technology and powered by the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 chipset at a competitive starting price of $445.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 was officially launched today after several weeks of rumors and anticipation. By all indications, the Android smartphone is worth the wait as it is armed with some interesting specifications and you can’t break the bank just to have this beast.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 Android smartphone comes with a new aesthetic design and has 6.39 inches Super AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen is also armed with a Corning Gorilla glass 6 to provide extra protection to the screen.
One of the specs I found amazing in this latest Xiaomi Mi 9 Android smartphone is the Sony IMX586 48MP module that the device comes with. It’s simply amazing! Though not as huge as the Sony Xperia XZ4’s 52MP shooter but can still stand tall and boast as one of the latest Android smartphones with a huge camera. The Redmi Note 7 which is from the sub-brand of Xiaomi comes with the Samsung 48MP sensor (Note the difference). The Xiaomi Mi 9 actually comes with triple camera setup of 48MP +16MP + 12MP on the rear. It is also rumored to be the first Xiaomi smartphone with a triple camera setup. The front hosts 20MP ultra-wide camera with 1.0µm pixels and an f/2.2 lens with autofocus, which allows it to shoot macros from a 4cm distance.
The latest Xiaomi Mi 9 runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) Operating System. In terms of memory, the device comes in two variants: the 12GB of RAM tagged with 256GB of storage, and 6GB of RAM going with 128GB of internal storage. The storage is pretty good for the price if you ask me.
