Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro

Xiaomi, as well as the other Chinese brands, are really kicking the ground pretty hard as they are launching phones after phones with exciting features and eye-catching designs. But is it worth it? In some senses, it is completely fine as for the business perspective. The more options your company has, the more exploitation in the market you get. In this article, you can know about Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Xiaomi has been following this mantra from quite a while now. They have been mainly focusing on the Mid-range market. As we know very well, almost 82 per cent of the smartphone consumers prefer to buy a mid-budget or lower mid-budget range phone rather than going for the home run. No wonder, all the brands are literally flooding the market with phones.

After the huge success in the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, Xiaomi is all set to release yet another phone in the Note series, What that phone is going to be? Will it be able to pick up the pace or will perish under the immense pressure. We don’t know. But we can have a brief understanding if we go through the specs real quick.

Prior to the launch, Xiaomi is very active in India. In the year 2018, Xiaomi became India’s number One smartphone selling brand. This phone, however, will have an expected price tag of 18,990 INR.

There are certain sections where we will be going through to see the full specs and specifications. The sections are:

  • Design
  • Display
  • Performance
  • Camera
  • Battery
  • Sensors and Other features
  • Water Resistance

Now let us focus on the design of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Design of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro: Sleek Finish, Punch Hole and More!

As we know, Xiaomi phones are pretty much the same looking when it comes to designing and attributes. But the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 gave us some hope when Xiaomi has opted to go for a ‘Non-Xiaomi’ approach in the design. This increased the expectation on the next device by a considerable margin.

Even there are rumours that the next Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro will have a punch-hole display. So, as we speak, all the news and specs are from verified links. But as the product is still in the factories, so some of the components may not make to the final cut. But rest assured everything mentioned here today will be from verified sources.

The phone will have a glass front and back. And the framing will be of aluminium. The front and the back will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.This will give the phone some extra protection from scratches. But the smudges will be seen as the phone is made out of glass. The consumers will have a hard time if he or she has OCD.

Now, as we speak, the dimensions are not clear yet. But Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro phone should have the identical dimension of its predecessor. So, the length will be of 6.53 inches, which is kind of perfect these days. The width should be around the 3.02 inches mark, yes I know it is a bit wider than usual, but that is what it is. The breadth should be the standard 0.33 inches.

Other than that the construction and the progression of the attributes are pretty standard and will be identical to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Now let us see what the display is going to offer.

Display of Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro: IPS LCD in Mid Rangers?

Yes, the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has been accustomed to an IPS LCD Screen. The news if from an authentic source, so there is no chance of an AMOLED panel just yet. The main reason behind this is that the company is trying to save some extra bucks so that they can spend it on other important components.

The screen is said to be a 6.7 inches screen. The screen is going to be a full high definition panel. SO the resolution will be 1080 into 2400 Pixels. The screen is an IPC LCD but still can produce a huge amount of brightness. (lakegenevaadventures.com) We should also bear this in mind that the phone has a punch hole cut out for the front-facing camera. The Pixel density of this screen is almost close to 393 PPI.

However, we are still in the dark about the dimensions, which makes us unable to calculate the screen to body ratio. But from the previous experience, the screen to body ratio will be around 80% to 83%. The aspect ratio is going to be 19:5:9 thanks to the punch-hole display.

The reason behind choosing LCDs over AMOLEDs is to reduce the costs. The cost of an AMOLED screen is twice as of the IPS LCD. But that does not mean that the IPS LCDs are bad or downgraded. These screen as a lot to offer as well.

I am moving on to the next topic, the performance of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Performance of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro: The New Generation Snapdragon!

Performance of a particular phone relies on certain aspects. Like the speed of the processor, the storage, the primary and secondary processing memory, the graphics processing unit and the overall UI and the back end operations of the OS. All of these factors can be divided into two categories, such as the Software Unit and the Hardware unit.

All the Hardware components that are inserted under the hood is the parts of the Hardware Unit. These components are the Processor or chipset, The RAM, Internal Storage Unit and the Graphics Processing Unit. Other factors are minor components which works like various linker between the main components. The Software unit consists of the main OS, in this case, the Android OS and the UI or User Interface. Various Brands uses various UIs. For example, Samsung uses their signature ONE OS, One Plus uses the Oxygen OS, and in this particular phone of Xiaomi, the MIUI is installed.

So we will be fragmenting the phone today and see what the successor of the Note family has to offer.

The Software Unit of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro

This phone will be running on Android. As expected, of course. The latest version of Android 10 will be used on this phone. As far as the attributes are concerned, the Android ten will be the worthy pick for this phone. The signature Xiaomi’s MIUI will be i9ncluded as the user interface. But it is not sure that which version will be provided.

There are some bugs and issues in the MIUI as far as the customer complaints are concerned. But Xiaomi has to fix those As soon as possible. If they fail to do it, this phone will start losing its potential customers day by day.

Other than that, the phone is pretty sleek as far as the software is concerned. The addition of the fun features of Android ten really pushes the phone to the next level. Now let us see what the hardware unit will bring on to the table.

The Hardware Unit of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro

As I have mentioned earlier that this phone will bring up the new generation of the Snapdragon chipsets. Qualcomm has introduced a new range of chipsets that are of mid-range. But the performance lies flagship-grade. The chipset is of the 700 series and is named as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. This 8 Nanometer chipset is running on eight cores. The main core is clocked at 2.4 GHz, and the latter is clocked at 2.2 GHz. That is a sheer example of power and speed around the clock.

Now, speaking about the other vital components, The Graphics processing unit is of Adreno, and it is an Adreno 620. The Adreno 620 is a flagship GPU. So the graphics rendering is going to be one heck of an experience.

The RAM will be a singular variant. It is of 6 GB. The internal storage is going to rise up to 128 GB. But the good news for the heavy storage users, there is a micro SD card slot dedicated for the expansion of the storage up to 512 GB.

Overall, the Note 9 Pro did a great job apart from some occasional glitches. This phone is expected to be delivering a smooth transition experience and overall multitasking facilities. But the phone will get a bit warm if we are into heavy gaming. But the warmth is pretty minimal, and it is bearable.

Now let us see what the camera is going to offer us. Will it be the best of Note or fail to amaze us prior to its customers?

The rear camera is the quad-camera setup. The main camera is a 64 Mega Pixels camera. It is a 26 nm wide-angle camera. The aperture count is of f/2.2. The next camera is an ultra-wide-angle camera. It has a 16 mm sensor of 8 Mega Pixels. It can take pictures at a 119-degree angle. The aperture count of this camera is f/2.4. The third camera is a macro lens. It can take some close pictures, which is very small and cannot be seen in a detailed manner on the naked eye. It is of 5 Mega Pixels.

The aperture count is of f/2.2. The last camera is not a camera. It is a depth sensor. The depth sensor is of 5 Mega Pixels. The main purpose of the depth sensor is to detect the distance of the object from the background. This generates vital information for light conditions and portraits. The aperture count of this camera is f/2.4. The front-facing camera has a primary lens of 32 Mega Pixels. The aperture count is of f/2.0.

The cameras

The cameras are pretty promising, no denying on that. Now everything is on the stake with the response of the camera software. The main cameras are equipped with large sensors, that means the photos are going to turn out great. The main concern is the night mode. Xiaomi has been somewhat hit and miss situation in low light photography. But the new product has the potential. All Xiaomi needs to do is to utilize the hardware perfectly.

The videography is going to be pretty sweet as far as the sensors are concerned. 4K video recording is available in 60 frames per second. But if we want additional image stabilization, then we will have to downgrade the quality to 1080p, and the frame rate will be 30 frames per second. The front-facing camera is capable of shooting some crisp 1080p resolution videos with 30 frames per second frame rate.

Now let us see what the battery has to offer.

The battery of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro

This time, Xiaomi will do what they do best. And that is to provide an awesome battery life. This phone has been opted to have a whopping 5100 mAh. This will easily provide a two-day-long battery life. There will be fast charging facility available. But Xiaomi has not mentioned the exact numbers in the fast charging. But from my experience, I am expecting a 30 Watts charging brick to charge this bad boy up. There is no wireless charging available in this unit.
