Oppo will be unveiling another mid-range Android smartphone this month with a great battery backup, superb display, excellent cameras, and robust configuration. The phone is called the Oppo Reno. The latest smartphone comes with some interesting features like the 6.4-inch display, an amazing 48MP shooter and ample battery backup to drive those great features onboard.
Today, we are going to review some of these specs that come with the latest device, and possibly the price at which this smartphone will be sold.
Oppo Reno Design and Display Review
Recent leaks from Mysmartprice show that the upcoming Oppo Reno features a dual camera setup the back with some fancy color options like Purple, Green, Black, and Pink Gold to choose from. As seen on the recently leaked images of the smartphone below, it comes with a notchless front with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.1% which gives this latest Android smartphone a unique design.
As far as display is concerned, Oppo Reno is armed with a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. Just like we saw in Vivo V15 Pro and Oppo F11 Pro, Oppo Reno also features a Pop-Up selfie camera on the front. Onboard the display is a fingerprint scanner for security.

Oppo Reno Camera and Battery Review
Most Oppo smartphones have high quality and superb cameras as one of their major selling points. The new Oppo Reno isn’t going to be an exception. The phone is armed with a dual camera setup on the rear of which one is a huge 48-megapixel and a 20-megapixel for capturing high-quality pictures. What we can’t confirm is if the 48MP camera is going to be a wide-angle aperture or a depth sensor, but we are sure that the two cameras are designed to compete with the likes of Redmi Note 7 or Xperia 1 in taking top-notch photographs.
Powering all those great features is a superb 4,065mAh battery that is tagged with VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. The battery backup is awesome and promises 2 days of power on a fair usage range. Just when you think your power is depleting, just plug-in the smartphone on the light with charger and watch your device get fired up within 45 minutes.
Oppo Reno Configuration and Storage Review
The Oppo Reno Android smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chip which offers great performance. Although the Snapdragon 710 chip is not the best in the market, it is still great for the phone- considering its mid-range status. There’s also an Octa-core processor onboard the phone clocking at a speed of 2.2GHz. The phone is a great choice for Android gamers- thanks to the Adreno 616 GPU with a solid 6GB that offers good graphics and lag-free multitasking. Oppo Reno’s 616 GPU for graphics is good for games but when compared with the 640 GPU that features the latest Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone, the latter is better.
In terms of storage, Oppo Reno offers 128GB of internal storage that provides enough space for you to save all your data and files. In case of extra storage, the phone storage can also be expanded up to 256GB with MicroSD card.
