One of the top players in the Android smartphone industry in Africa has recently added two latest smartphones to their “Hot” lineup. The smartphones are called Infinix Hot 7 and a higher version called Infinix Hot 7 Pro. (Diazepam) These two latest smartphones come with some similar specs but the difference between the normal Hot 7 and Hot 7 Pro can be seen in the rear camera setup and in the RAM and storage department.

Infinix Hot 7 and Hot 7 Pro Design and Display Reviews
Like I said earlier, Hot 7 and the Pro version come with similar specs, except for some obvious upgrades I found on the rear camera and RAM department. As far as design is concerned, Infinix Hot 7 Pro comes with a dual camera sensor on the back as against the single camera setup found on the normal Infinix Hot 7.
The two Android smartphones practically sport the same notched 6.26-inches display. The notch in both phones house the front camera, light sensor, proximity sensor, LED flash and earpiece.
Also, there is a reduced bezel in both Android smartphones which gives you enough display experience and ample screen for entertainment. Infinix Hot 7 and Hot 7 Pro also host rear fingerprint scanner just below the back camera.

Infinix Hot 7 and Hot 7 Pro Camera and Battery
As far as the camera is concerned in both smartphones, the Hot 7 features just single 13-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash on the rear for smart and impressive photographs. The front sports 8-megapixel selfie shooter for decent selfie shots.
The Infinix Hot 7 Pro comes with a dual rear camera setup of 13MP main camera + 2MP depth sensor. The front camera takes clear selfies with the 8MP lens. The cameras in both phones are powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) that enhances the picture quality.
The two Android smartphones are powered by the same 4,000mAh non-removable battery. The battery is pretty cool for such budget smartphones but the only issue here is the absence of fast charging technology on both phones. When you run out of power and you need to charge the phone, just plug it in and go take a nap or play your favorite computer games because it will take a lot of time for that battery to max 100% charged.
Infinix Hot 7 and Hot 7 Pro Hardware and Software
This is one area I always find Infinix smartphones overly annoying. Releasing and hyping a new Android smartphone which in actual sense is supposed to be an upgraded version of the previous release, then slapping it with a low-end chip and OS. Although, Hot 7 and the Pro version are budget Android smartphones, using MediaTek MT6580P is not the best choice if I must say. Even Redmi 7 that is of the same range comes with more dignifying chip and processor than Hot 7.
Infinix Hot 7 and the Hot 7 Pro comes with the Infinix’s latest software dubbed XOS Honeybee 4.1 based on the Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System.
The Hot 7 comes has 1GB and 2GB of RAM, tagging along with 16GB and 32GB of internal storage to choose from respectively. The Hot 7 Pro comes in 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The storage in both phones can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Infinx Hot 7 and Hot 7 Pro Price
The Hot 7 costs about N50,000 – N60,000 in Nigeria, depending on your location while the Hot 7 Pro can be purchased at N60,000 – N70,000.
