As we await the official release of the iTel Vision 1, iTel Mobile is also adding another budget android smartphone to the A-series called iTel A56. The new phone will feature an improved battery capacity, an updated operating system, and is meant to be the successor of the iTel A55 that was released in 2019.
UPDATE!!!! Itel A56 Pro has been launched with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Latestphonezone gathered that the new iTel phone will be featuring a long-lasting 4,000mAh battery capacity, 1GB RAM, and slapped with a big 6.0 inches IPS LCD FullScreen display. The screen will offer 480 x 960 pixels of resolution.
In terms of camera, the phone will host a dual rear camera setup containing an 8MP and a VGA lens, along with a single LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone will boast of a 5MP selfie shooter with an LED flash. Features of the camera include portrait mode, HDR, AI beauty mode, and automatic scene recognition.

Under the hood, iTel A56 sports a Quad-core Unisoc SC7731E processor which is paired with 1GB as mentioned above. The internal storage capacity is expected to be 16GB and can be expanded upto 32GB via a microSD card. The graphic engine powering the device has not been revealed, but we know that the budget smartphone will run Android v9.0 Pie Go Edition.
The device will also be equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock sensor for additional security. Being an entry-level phone, iTel A56 comes with 2G and 3G network for browsing.
iTel A56 Price in Nigeria and Availability
Itel A56 price in Nigeria is expected to be NGN 23,000 which translates to $64. The budget smartphone is expected land with iTel Vision 1 in March, though not confirmed yet. The color variants are Gradient Blue, Black, Gold.
